Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any service, enrolling in a course, or using any part of our website or premises. By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About SHALI
SHALI Makeup Academy & Beauty Parlour ("SHALI", "we", "our", "us") is a registered beauty services and education establishment operating in Tamil Nadu, India. Our services include makeup and parlour treatments, tattoo artistry, nutrition coaching, and professional beauty education.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting our website, booking an appointment, enrolling in any course, or availing any service at SHALI, you ("Client", "Student", "User") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.
3. Appointments and Booking
3.1 Booking Confirmation
- Appointments can be booked online through our website, by phone, or in person at our branches.
- An appointment is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation message from our team via SMS, WhatsApp, or email.
- We reserve the right to decline or reschedule any appointment at our discretion.
3.2 Punctuality
- Clients are requested to arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment time.
- If a client is more than 15 minutes late, SHALI reserves the right to shorten the service or reschedule the appointment.
3.3 Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will be rescheduled without penalty.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may be subject to a cancellation charge of up to 25% of the service fee.
- No-shows without prior notice may be charged the full service fee.
- SHALI may cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients will be notified promptly and offered a full reschedule at no cost.
4. Services and Treatments
4.1 Health and Allergy Disclosure
Clients are required to disclose any known allergies, skin conditions, medical conditions, medications, or contraindications prior to receiving any service. SHALI shall not be held liable for adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed conditions.
4.2 Patch Tests
For certain services including chemical hair treatments, colouring, and some skin treatments, a patch test may be required 48 hours before the service. SHALI reserves the right to refuse treatment if a patch test reveals a reaction.
4.3 Tattoo Services
- All tattoo procedures are performed by trained and certified professionals using sterile, single-use equipment.
- Clients must be 18 years or older for tattoo services. Minors require written parental or guardian consent.
- Tattoos are permanent. SHALI is not responsible for dissatisfaction arising from the permanent nature of tattoos once the client has provided approval of the design.
- Aftercare instructions must be followed as provided. SHALI is not liable for complications arising from improper aftercare.
4.4 Results and Guarantees
Results of beauty services may vary between individuals due to differences in skin type, hair type, health conditions, and personal factors. SHALI does not guarantee specific outcomes beyond the application of professional techniques and quality products.
5. Payments and Pricing
- All prices for services and courses are as displayed at our branches or communicated by our staff. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance.
- We accept cash, UPI, debit/credit cards, and other digital payment methods as available at our branches.
- Advance deposits may be required for bridal, wedding, or large group bookings. Deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled 72 hours in advance.
6. Academy and Courses
6.1 Enrolment
- Course enrolment is confirmed only upon payment of the course fee and receipt of written confirmation from SHALI Academy.
- SHALI reserves the right to refuse enrolment or discontinue a student's participation for reasons including but not limited to misconduct, non-payment, or failure to meet attendance requirements.
6.2 Course Content and Schedule
- Course curriculum, duration, and schedule are subject to change. Students will be notified of significant changes in advance.
- A minimum attendance of 80% is required to qualify for certification.
6.3 Fees and Refunds (Academy)
- Course fees are non-refundable once training has commenced.
- Requests for refund made before the course commencement date will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to administrative charges.
- SHALI is not responsible for loss of earnings or employment opportunities arising from course participation or outcomes.
6.4 Certification
Certificates are awarded only upon successful completion of the course, meeting attendance requirements, and satisfying assessment criteria. SHALI's certificates are proprietary and do not imply affiliation with any government body unless explicitly stated.
7. Client Conduct
- Clients are expected to treat SHALI staff with respect and courtesy at all times.
- SHALI reserves the right to refuse service to any client who is abusive, intoxicated, or in violation of our conduct standards.
- Mobile phones should be kept on silent during service sessions. Photography within the salon is permitted only with prior consent from staff.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the SHALI website, including text, images, logos, graphics, videos, and course materials, is the intellectual property of SHALI Makeup Academy & Beauty Parlour or its licensors. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any content without express written permission is strictly prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, SHALI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services, website, or course content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
10. Privacy
Your use of our services and website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of SHALI services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, India.
12. Amendments
SHALI reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
